How to Control your Dishwasher

This week my group got a fiction story which means in didn't actually happen. It's called dirty dishes.

It was a fun story. It's about kid who try's to load the dishwasher but the dishwasher didn't want to clean the dishes. The kid's name is Peter and he is afraid of the new dishwasher because glasses and cups come out chipped and knifes and forks go missing.

This week we had to chose a synthesis question instead of an analysis. I had to make a poster about how to control your dishwasher.

It was difficult making the poster but also fun.
It was easy making image's.

WWW.How to Control Your Dishwasher is not a real website. Do NOT search it up.

Any questions write in the comments.
What do you think I can work on and why?

Culture and Tradition

This term for Integrated Learning we are learning about Culture and Tradition.

Culture is something to do with where your from. I am from New Zealand so my culture is the same as anyone else from New Zealand. Tradition is something you do with your family like every Friday you watch a movie or chose a fast food restaurant.

I found finding image's difficult.
I found the information easy.
I enjoyed writing about Culture and Tradition.

What is your Culture?
Do you have any traditions?
If so what are they?
If you have any questions put them in the comments.

Galactic Volcano

WALT share what we have explored with Whānau.

GALACTIC VOLCANO

In term 3 week 10 we had the celebration of learning. We had to get into groups of 3 but my group lost 1 person :l. We had to make a slide show about how to do an experiment we learnt a few week's earlier.

Check other people's blogs to find more experiments. If you really like science, well, you've come to the right place. If you like volcano's and mess', you've also come to the right place. If you don't like them, well, you've come to the right place because you can check it out and maybe you'll like them, or just check out other blog post's.

My group did a volcano experiment. My group member is Tini. It was fun doing the experiment on the day. One day you could do this experiment.

The tests I wasn't here for so when it says my on the test slides that's Tini writing.

Before you do the experiment, make a hypothesis about what you think will happen. Write in the comments what you think will happen and after you do it tell me what happens.

Did you enjoy the slide show?
Do you think you will do this experiment?
If so, have fun.
I enjoyed doing the experiment.
I found describing the experiment difficult.

Things that make up my core.

In Integrated Learning, we are learning about taonga. Taonga is the Māori word for treasure.

In class we had to make a poster about thing's that are taonga to us. These thing's are the thing's that make up our core. I've got a lot of stuff but I didn't have enough room on the google drawing.

What I found difficult was choosing thing's to put in my google drawing.
What I found easy was writing about them.

What is something that is taonga (Treasure) to you?
What is not something that is taonga (Treasure) to you? (This one you can answer if you want, you don't have to.)

Return Ticket Please

Schools started back up for term 4 and so has sharp reading. This term the groups have changed, but I'm still in the same group.

This week (Week 1) my group got an article, a non-fiction text. The name of the article my group got was called Return Ticket Please. It's about people planning to go to Mars in the year 2020, (Next year.)

I found making the information web difficult.
I found publishing the information web easy.

Do you think people will make it to Mars?
Why or why not?
