Irish Symbols

WALT show others about something Irish. (Example, how to draw the symbols.)
 In class we had to research something about Ireland. We could chose to show others how to do the hornpipe dance, how do draw the symbols, acting out a myth, limerick poems, basic Irish dance moves or Irish songs.

The Missing Key

W.A.L.T create a story using picture prompts and detail.
First we looked at the picture, next we had a SUPER brainstorm, last we wrote the story.
A SUPER brainstorm is a huge brainstorm. It's also a long brainstorm. We had to draw the key, next we found 30 things we could see on the picture, next we described the Characters, next we had to write before the picture, write what happened in the picture, write after the picture and last we wrote the story.

The Key

Chapter 1

Adam the finder

A few years ago, before the Giants, there was a kid called Adam.

His friends called him Ad. Sometimes Ad, (Birthplace New
Zealand) went into the basement. He always looked at the
picture on the wall that’s been there since the house was built.

This is the picture.

It meant grave danger. Meanwhile the Bad Samurai leader
was at the Wrecking ball store.

At Ads house a Good Samurai (Birthplace unknown)
knocked on the door.

Ad opened the door. A few minutes of talking later.

The Good Samurai gave Ad a key.

Ad knew this would happen 1 day,and he knew that if he lost it, it could get into the wrong hands.

A few days later, Ad was in the basement again
writing and drawing about the key.

This is his drawing.

It can destroy the world.

While Ad was in the basement, he lost the key
by dropping it into the time machine he built the year before.

It fell out of his pocket walking to his desk.

A few minutes later, Ad realized that he lost the key.

He heard the time machine after an hour of looking.

He went into the time machine.

Ad went into the time machine to look for it.

Chapter 2.

65 Million Years in the Making

Ad, (also known as Adam) was now in 2000 years ago in BC.

The key was in the time machine.

Ad got out of the time machine.

Next he saw a Parasaurolophus fighting a
T-rex that just killed a Carnotaurus.

The Para stepped on on Ad. After that the meteor hit the earth.

To be continued…. Immediately.

Chapter 3

The next day,

Ad was alive but the dinosaurs weren’t.
Ad found the key inside the time machine.

So he went in the time machine, grabbed the key
and went to the present.

When he got to the present his dad yelled,
“GET DOWN ADAM!” so Ad got down.

They both died by a wrecking ball.

The Bad Samurai Leader was done wrecking ball shopping.

When Ad died he dropped the key again.

The Bad Samurai leader grabbed the key and left.

The end.

Chapter 4

The end (Or years later)

Years later the Bad Samurai Leader pulled out the key,
opened an underground door and died.

The end.

Something stranded

W.a.l.t retell the story using a slideshow.

I chose a slideshow because we were allowed to make a short animation about a story called something stranded. So we read the story, made a animation, and publish it to our blog. Only my reading group did it.

It’s the end of the World

It’s been 1 week after I had prepared for the grave danger.
I ran to the flats.

The flats is a place full of normal short grass.
“Ha ha ha.” Laughed the bad Samurai leader.

He got out a key and opened a door that was underground.

When he entered he died because there were Giants in there that needed to kill someone to be released.

I got to the flats. A Giant orb was taking over.

The orb was round and was in the middle of the flats.

It also had a glow of red in the middle to stand for it’s evil.

I went to get a steel robot that I made.

When I got back the flats were, nearly gone….

I killed most of the Giants with one punch.
I ran to where the orb was.

But a bigger Giant got in my way.
I knew it was bigger because it was the protector of the orb.

I punched it and it died 1 hit…. But what I didn’t know is that it was alive.

I got to the Giant orb. It was nearly night.

That Giant from the last paragraph was right next to it.
The orb went into the middle of the Giant.

I couldn’t taste, smell or feel anything for a while,
because I was in the robot.

I heard and saw everything in front of me. I had a final battle.

“Time. To. Die!” I said in a dark tone destroying the orb.

I got out of my robot and everything was back to normal.

In the morning,

I got on a train and went home.

It took a few weeks to get home.

It was night the time I got home.

So that's the story about how I saved the world.
