Summer Learning Journey Day 2 Activity 2 Neil Armstrong

Hey guys, still day 2. If you have been doing the Summer Learning Journey what are you hoping to win? I'm hoping to win an Ipad. In this activity I had to write a poem about Neil Armstrong on the moon. I had to pretend I was Neil Armstrong and I had to write a poem.
This is it

Mankind sent me, Neil Armstrong to the Moon.
On Apollo 11, I felt a bit nervous but I made it.
On the moon I was excited because I was the first person.
No gravity, I was so happy to be on the moon.

I found the entire poem difficult.
I enjoyed writing the poem because I like writing.

If I was the first person on the moon I'd jump a lot.
What would you do if you were first on the moon.

  1. Hi Tyler!

    Me again. :)

I like how even though you found writing poetry difficult you still gave it a go. You've ended up producing a good poem as well. :)
If you really could go to the moon, do you think you'd want to? I think it'd be such a cool experience!

    Mā te wā,

    Mikey :)

  2. Kia Ora Tyler,

I like this poem about the moon, its really descriptive. I like how you have added what was difficult, I never thought of adding what was difficult of making the poem.
Maybe next time you could do a different type of poem.

    Bye for now

    Manuk :))

2. Thoughtful - A sentence to let us know you actually read/watched or listened to what I had to say
3. Something thoughtful - how have you connected with my learning? Give me some ideas for next time or ask me a question.
