Summer Learning Journey Day 1 Activity 1 Setting Sail

Holidays have started and so has the summer learning journey. I have just done Activity 1 and it was Fun. The activity was called setting sail. I had to think of 10 foods, but I had an extra, to bring when going out to sea.

Something I found difficult was thinking of items.
Something I enjoyed was the activity.

What would you bring?
Would you bring anything from here?
Why or why not?
If so what foods?

  1. Hi Tyler!

Mikey here. Congratulations on completing your first Summer Learning Journey activity! I'm so glad that you've decided to spend some of your summer holiday blogging with us. :)

I really like the way you've presented this activity. Well done on remembering to attribute the images you've used as well! :) This is quite the list - how would you go about keeping your fruit and drinks cold? That'd be pretty tricky without a fridge.

Hmm... I'd definitely take water with me too. It's so important to keep hydrated, especially if your going to be in the sun.

Keep up the great blogging, Tyler! I look forward to seeing more activities from you soon.

    Bye for now,

    Mikey :)

    1. Hi Mikey,

I've really enjoyed this activity because now it gets me closer to the top prize, an Ipad. Thank you for the comment.

  2. Kia Ora Tyler,
I like your food list it looks very yummy. I also like how you have pictures of the food and that you wrote a small description about the item, I never thought of adding pictures. Maybe next time you could how you would store them or if they could melt or get rotten. but I like this anyway. Something I would bring is Vegetables.
