In writing we were put into groups and we were given a character, (But we could add in other characters) a problem, (But my group made another problem) and a setting. We had to come up with a solution to our problem, (But for my group we needed a new solution for the other problem.) It was a fun time making the story. My group made our story the funnest story ever. It was difficult actually fitting it in. Enjoy. Zoom in to see the writing. (Warning, ending is funny, but random)
What did you find funny and why?
If you could do this what would you write about and why?
I was a student at St Bernadette’s Primary School. This is a place where I shared my learning with you. Please note… some work won't be edited - just my first drafts, so there may be some surface errors. I would love your feedback, comments, thoughts and ideas.

T3W6 Shared Slideshow
This week for sharp reading we were reading a story called Staying Home. It is about a girl named Greta who hates school, so she finds a way to fake sick. When we made the shared slideshow for this week, we had to make a story web. It was fun making the slideshow. It was difficult making writing the story web.

My Favourite Season
In writing we had to write about what our favourite season is. Everyone has they're own favourite season. Some people chose summer, some chose autumn, some chose winter and some chose spring. After we finished writing we had to make a picture of that season.
My favourite season is all the seasons. But my most favourite season is, the coldest season. Can you guess what it is? If you guessed winter, your right. Winter is my favourite season because you can have snowball fights, there’s winter sports, you can have fun in the snow, and you can make a snowman.
I like winter because my Mum and Dad’s birthdays are in winter. My birthday is too. Every year I pray for it to snow on any of these three days. Also my birthday is a few days past the middle of the year, so a lot of toys would be available to buy.
Another reason why I like winter is because you can have, snowball fights. I have never had a snowball fight because it doesn’t snow much where I live. In 2017 it did snow, but not a lot. I couldn’t have a snowball fight. If I could, I would go somewhere where it does snow.
One other reason why I like winter is because you can build a snowman. When I was about 3 years old, I lived somewhere near where I live now, but it snowed a lot when I was 3. Caleb and I built a snowman, but we didn’t have a snowball fight. When the snowman was done we threw snowballs at it. I can remember because my Dad has a picture of Caleb and I in the snow.
One last reason why I like winter is winter sports. At my school we start going to winter sports at year 5. It’s a whole lot of fun. We do it from term 2 week 3-term 3 week 6. There’s different sports like football (Soccer), netball, hockey, basketball, and rugby but nobody chose basketball or rugby. The sport I chose this year is netball because last year I played netball and enjoyed it. Last year my team wasn’t good, but this year we are awesome.
These are the reasons why I love winter. Some people might like other seasons but, I love winter the most. What is your favourite season?
This picture reminds me of winter because the tree has no leaves and the snowflakes are made of snow and the fire keeps you warm. What is your favourite season and why?

Week 5 Sharp Reading Shared Slideshow
This week my sharp reading group was learning about hurricanes. Hurricanes are big storms that do not happen very often, but when they do, they cause a lot of damage. Before we started the shared slideshow we had to learn about info graphics. Info graphic's can be multiple things. I use words and numbers. Here is the slideshow. My slide is on slide 6.
I found finding images difficult. I found writing easy.

My Symbol of the Eucharist
In lesson 7 of the sacraments we learned about the Eucharist. We had to make our own symbols and write down a verse underneath it. What I found hard was making the symbol. The writing was easy. Everyone made a different symbol.
What do you think?
I spent a lot of time on this.
The cross is a symbol because it is what Jesus died on.
The bread and the wine are symbols because it is what Jesus gave to his disciples.

Week 2 and 4 sharp reading shared slideshow
In reading we had to work on a shared slideshow with the People in our group. The task was called a story web. We had to use mindmap to make a story web. Week 2 I didn't do good but week 4 I did a little better at understanding the task. We now have to publish Weeks 2 and 4 to the blog. So this one is week 2. The story for week 2 is called Who did it? It was about mysteries and a girl called Jen.
My feedback on this one is to name the the different parts of the story.
I listened to that feedback and my week 4 story web was different. It was called the Iron man. The Iron man was a fake Iron man made from tin cans. It was a fun story.

Math Strategy
Walt use Add/sub to work out fractions of a set. This slideshow will help you with fractions. There are a few different questions. One slide for each set of questions. There is an answer key for both sets of questions but you need to finish the questions first. Don't cheat. I found writing the answers down hard because I didn't really know the answers. I used the strategy I'm about to teach you.

Sacraments of Initiation
In Religious Education we are learning about the Sacraments of Initiation. We made DLOS about these sacraments. They help you become closer to God the Lord.
Did you enjoy.
I enjoyed making the slideshow. I found the writing hard.
What did you like about it and why?

Apostrophes
In writing, some people in my class forget to put in Apostrophes. So in reading, if we finish our task's for the week, we have to make a Poster telling others about Apostrophes. Here is my one.
If you have any question's, write them down in the comments.
What do you like about my poster?

T3 Psalms
During morning prayers we have been praying with the psalms. Each morning, Mrs Lee showed the class a psalm. We had to chose a verse, and put it in a doc. Today we had to put our own psalms on a slideshow. I was really interested and confused. Here is my slideshow so far.
I enjoyed making our own psalms. What I found difficult was making the slideshow.
What do you like about the slideshow? (Don't comment about the background.)
Why did you like that?
What could I work on next time?
